Block #18 - Terra Cotta Pot

Today we have an empty terra cotta pot to paper-piece. Why is it empty? Because this is what most of my container gardening pots look like...empty (or at least with dead or dying plants in them). I simply do not have a green thumb and I must say that I admire those that do!

This wonderful frozen treat can become a part of a wonderful unfrozen quilt project! Just print it out and sew it up! I can't promise that it will taste as good as the real thing, but just like the Fast Food Block, it has ZERO CALORIES!

Ice Cream Cone measures 6" finished size and it is paper pieced.

Block Name: Quarter Note

"A quarter note is held for one beat."


If I had a nickel for everytime I've said that, I'd be rich! Having spent 22 years in music lessons and 22 years in music education, a music symbol seemed the perfect subject for today's paper-pieced block. At least to me. ;-)


As all of the previous blocks have been, this one is paper-pieced and it measures 6" finished size.
